Photographer. Certified yapper. Professional noticer. A firm believer that people are a whole lot more interesting when they get to just be themselves.
I like people, actual people. The loud ones. The quiet ones. The awkward at first ones. The kids who need to run around for 10 minutes before acknowledging my existence. You don't have to show up perfect and ready to perform. I just need you to be present, I like that version better anyways.
I'm a mom, a legal assistant, photographer, and apparently someone who looks at their already chaotic schedule and says, "you know what, yeah I can add that in".
I'm a windows down, music way too loud kind of girl. Give me a good sunset, wings and a game of pool, a porch with good company, or a long drive with no real destination in mind and I'm pretty damn happy.
I laugh loudly, I remember random things people tell me even six months later, & once you're one of my people, I'm going to root for you obnoxiously hard.
Basically, I really like humans.
Totally convenient considering my career choice!
I started photography because life was happening and moments were passing that nobody was keeping. Kids were growing. Families were changing. People were getting older. All these completely ordinary moments were quietly becoming the things we'd eventually wish we could return to.
I wanted to give people a way to travel back.
Somewhere along the way, I realized people deserved permission to just freaking be. We spend too much time trying to get it right, make it perfect, and control every little thing. Meanwhile, the good stuff is happening int he in between and messy moments.
The moments that happen when we loosen our grip usually ends up being the ones we love the most. And if there's one thing I know, I really freaking love getting to show people that.
You want someone who will tell you what to do without sounding condesending.
You care more about how it felt than if everyone was looking at the camera.
You want your kids to have fun without being told to look at the camera 1000x.
You want photos that scream, "OMG THIS IS SO US!!!"
You want to actually enjoy the life we're here to photograph.
If you read all of that and though, "YEP!", I might be your girl.

You want your kids to have fun while not being told to smile and look at me 1000x.

If you want all of that, I think I might be your girl.
